Apropos Pferd 2026: Four days dedicated to horses

International sport, diverse shows, and personal exchange: From October 1–4, 2026, Apropos Pferd brought the equestrian scene together at Arena Nova Wiener Neustadt.

Whether tournament riders, leisure riders, or families with horse-loving children – Apropos Pferd offered many reasons for a visit in 2026 as well. For four days, the trade fair combined sporting competitions with a show program, specialist lectures, and a large selection of products related to horses. For 33 years, this mix has been an integral part of the event.

International sport and diverse shows

The sporting highlights included the international three-star show jumping tournament with three world ranking classes and the Grand Prix of Sportland Lower Austria, as well as the international three-star dressage tournament.

Western riding also had its fixed place: Alongside Ranch Trail, Ranch Pleasure, and Ranch Riding, an additional western competition in the main hall was on the program for the first time.

The international show acts showcased further facets of the horse world. Stunt riding, western riding, liberty dressage, and Icelandic horses with their special gaits provided a varied program. Alongside speed and spectacular performances, it was also about the subtle communication between humans and horses.

In the KRONEHIT Show Arena, visitors gained insights into different horse breeds, training methods, and everyday handling of horses. Specialist talks offered the opportunity to deepen knowledge and ask questions directly to experts.

At the specialist exhibitors, interested visitors could discover new products, compare equipment, and get personal advice. Conversations with riders and trainers, as well as meet & greets with horse influencers, also made the trade fair visit an opportunity to make contacts and exchange experiences. Children’s activities and a diverse range of food and drink rounded out the program for the whole family.

“Apropos Pferd thrives on so many people with different interests coming together here – from the experienced tournament rider to the child seeing a pony up close for the first time. Creating this place for sport, encounters, and enthusiasm for horses is important to us. My thanks go to all exhibitors, participants, partners, and our team who make these four days possible,” says Gerald Stangl, Managing Director of Arena Nova.

With the conclusion of Apropos Pferd 2026, the next date is already set: From October 7 to 10, 2027, the horse scene will meet again at Arena Nova Wiener Neustadt for the 34th APROPOS PFERD!
