19th “Pets Today & EXOTICA” at Arena Nova – A pet fair experience for the whole family
From September 6-7, 2025, Arena Nova in Wiener Neustadt will once again transform into a mecca for animal lovers. The popular fair “Pets Today & EXOTICA” is back for the 19th time – with a colorful mix of information, experiences, advice, and shopping all about dogs, cats, spiders, insects, fish & plants.
From Chihuahua to mini pig – there’s something for everyone here
Pedigree dogs at the ÖKV dog breed presentation, majestic pedigree cats in Hall 4 – the offerings at the fair are impressive. Even less common inhabitants like spiders, snails, dwarf shrimp, or exotic plants can be discovered at the EXOTICA sales exhibition in Hall 3.
Live demonstrations and hands-on programs
The show program features highlights such as search dog demonstrations, Dog Diving, herding dogs, Junior Handling, and popular sports courses, where visitors with their dogs can also participate. For children, there’s a painting table at Hamsterhilfe Österreich, face painting, duck fishing, and of course, many animals to marvel at and get to know.
Over 100 exhibitors present novelties and favorite products
Numerous exhibitors offer everything an animal lover’s heart desires: high-quality food, handmade accessories, creative accessories, advice from animal welfare organizations, hands-on activities, and much more. From stylish dog harnesses to BARF delicacies to the Reico Vital System – the range is colorful, diverse, and high-quality.
Practical and up-to-date: Proof of competence directly at the fair
Since June 2023, the proof of competence has been mandatory for new dog owners in Lower Austria. At the fair, this can be conveniently obtained on-site (incl. veterinarian and trainer lecture, €75).

Birman, Norwegian Forest Cats, Siamese, British Shorthair, Abyssinian, Persian, Maine Coon and more, 3:30 PM Selection of the most beautiful cat of the exhibition
Pursuant to Section 3, § 14 of the Animal Welfare Event Ordinance, no puppies are allowed at the fair, and only animals whose rabies vaccination was administered at least 30 days prior are permitted!
