Preamble
These House Rules apply to all halls, foyers, and other ancillary rooms of Arena Nova
at the location Rudolf Diesel Street 30, 2700 Wr. Neustadt.
- All events at Arena Nova are subject to the provisions of the Lower Austrian Event Act and the Lower Austrian Event Venue Act. The regulations resulting from these laws, as well as all official requirements, must be strictly observed. Furthermore, events are only permitted if the organizer presents the registration submitted to the competent municipality and, if necessary, has obtained the event permit from the competent municipality.
- Entry is only permitted upon presentation of a valid ticket.
Performer, escort, visitor, and other tickets only entitle the holder to use or attend the facilities or events for which they were issued; access to cordoned-off rooms or areas is only permitted to authorized persons. - After passing the barrier, tickets are non-transferable, must be kept until after leaving Arena Nova, and presented to inspection personnel upon request at any time. Any misuse of tickets will result in their confiscation and invalidation, forfeiture of the money paid for them, and potentially legal action.
- Visitors must not disturb an event or annoy other visitors. Instructions given by inspection personnel or official supervisory bodies must be strictly followed.
- By receiving an admission pass or ticket, the holder submits to the provisions of these House Rules.
- Entry to the venue after 8 PM is only permitted for persons under 14 years of age when accompanied by an adult, and is not permitted for persons under 3 years of age. In addition, the Lower Austrian Youth Protection Act as amended applies to the entire venue.
- Throughout the entire Arena Nova premises, any sale or distribution of tickets outside of the box offices is prohibited. The sale or distribution of advertising or propaganda material, goods, and the like is permitted only with the approval of the event management, notwithstanding relevant official regulations.
- Parking of vehicles and leaving vehicles in the Arena Nova car park is permitted in compliance with the General Road Traffic Regulations.
- Entering and soiling green areas is prohibited. In the changing rooms, the use and storage of highly flammable objects and liquids are prohibited, as is smoking.
- At exhibitions and trade fairs, strollers are permitted if they are constantly supervised by adults and are not left in traffic lanes or exits.
- Access to the performance and training areas, including their ancillary rooms, cloakrooms, and storage facilities, as well as to the changing rooms of performers and actors, is only permitted to persons employed there. Their stay is only permitted for as long as their presence is necessary.
- Team and performer changing rooms must be used separately by gender. Entry to men’s changing rooms by women or women’s changing rooms by men is prohibited. When leaving the changing rooms, athletes and performers must be appropriately dressed. This also applies, in particular, on the way to and from the showers.
- The use of training and combat areas is in any case at one’s own risk. Entry to the sports area is only permitted with sports shoes.
- The rooms and areas must always be kept clean.
- Exits must be kept unlocked from the entry of visitors until after the hall is emptied. Immediately before the end of the event, the exit gates must be opened.
- Before visitors are admitted, all safety lighting and a sufficient part of the main lighting must be activated. The main lighting and safety lighting may only be deactivated once all spectators and employees have left the premises. Any handling of the lighting equipment by unauthorized persons is prohibited.
- The officially approved capacity must not be exceeded.
- Carpets, floor coverings, and pictures in all areas used for traffic must be affixed as immovably as possible. Anyone who damages or destroys facilities is fully liable for the damages. For damages caused by minors, their parents or legal guardians are liable.
- All traffic routes and exits must remain unobstructed. Furniture, chairs, and benches must not be removed from their locations or placed in traffic routes or standing areas. Standing places are only permitted in the officially approved sections designated for them. Visitors are prohibited from bringing their own seating or standing arrangements. A smoking ban or a ban on bringing bottles, glasses, cups, etc., announced by notice or loudspeaker, must be strictly observed in the affected areas.
- When using curtains or theatrical decorations, smoking or the use of open fire or light without official permission is prohibited.
Petroleum, gasoline, celluloid objects, and other highly flammable materials must not be stored or used in areas accessible to visitors. Only flame-retardant or flame-proof impregnated materials and fasteners may be used for decorating the premises. The placement of stands and similar items requires special official approval. - Outerwear and umbrellas must be deposited in the cloakrooms. Depositing them in other places is prohibited. The cloakroom fee to be paid will be announced. Outerwear brought into the auditorium must be kept on. Canes may only be brought in by infirm persons as essential support.
- The bringing of any kind of objects and substances that may pose a danger to human life and health, or endanger operational safety, is prohibited. Specifically prohibited are: Weapons of any kind (any particularly dangerous object suitable for threatening life or limb is considered a weapon); Objects that can be used as weapons or projectiles; Gas spray cans or pressure containers for highly flammable or health-damaging gases, with the exception of commercially available pocket lighters; Toxic, corrosive, or staining substances or objects; Glass containers, bottles, cans, plastic canisters, hard packaging, or other objects made of glass or another fragile, splintering, or particularly hard material; Pyrotechnic articles and sets, such as: fireworks, smoke bombs, Bengal flares, etc.; Mechanically or electrically operated noise instruments (e.g., megaphone); Laser pointers, whistles, air horns; Pepper sprays and tear gas sprays; Large or bulky items such as ladders, stools, (folding) chairs, boxes, large bags, backpacks, Camelbacks (hydration packs), suitcases; Bicycles, skateboards, snakeboards, inline skates, scooters, e-scooters, kickboards, Segways, and similar vehicles; Racist, xenophobic, National Socialist, sexist, or political propaganda material. In case of doubt, the classification of objects as prohibited or permitted under these House Rules is at the discretion of the security service, supervisory personnel, orderlies, or the organizer, and the authorities of the City of Wiener Neustadt as well as the authorities of the Lower Austrian State Police Directorate. Persons carrying prohibited items as defined by these House Rules will be denied entry to the venue. If persons are found with prohibited items within the venue, the organizer, security service, supervisory personnel, or orderlies are entitled to remove the persons concerned from the venue.
- Photography, as well as film, video, and audio recordings, are only permitted with written, named authorization from the event management. For safety reasons, flash photography of any kind may only be used during events if it does not pose a danger to visitors or participants.
- During our events, photographs and/or films may be taken by or on behalf of the organizer. By attending the event, visitors acknowledge that photographs and video materials in which they are depicted may be used for press reporting and published in various (social) media, publications, and on websites.
- For every event, a sufficient number of usher, cloakroom, and restroom staff must be employed to ensure a smooth running of the event. Staff designated for dealing with spectators must wear uniforms and behave courteously towards visitors. They must address any disturbances that occur and act as mediators in disputes. They are entitled to seek the assistance of official supervisory bodies if visitors fail to comply with their instructions. All staff are obliged to ensure an orderly evacuation through vigorous and purposeful intervention. They may only leave once no visitors are present in the rooms.
Visitor complaints about operations, observed defects, and damages must be brought to the attention of the management and, if necessary, the official supervisory bodies. If an employee notices a danger (fire, structural damage, collapse) or is otherwise informed, they must notify the management; in case of fire, the fire alarm must be activated beforehand. - Objects found by Arena Nova staff or handed over to them as lost property must be immediately delivered to the hall manager.
In particular, during searches of visitor areas conducted after the event, attention must be paid to lost or left-behind items. - A person entrusted with providing first aid (paramedic) must be present at events. If the presence of a doctor is required at events, they must remain in the doctor’s room at all times. The doctor must be notified immediately of any necessary assistance.
- Separate rooms (meeting room, doctor’s room) are available for the official duties of the supervisory bodies and for medical assistance purposes.
Official supervisory personnel who identify themselves as such must be granted free access to all operational areas. Instructions given in the performance of their duties must be strictly followed. - In case of danger, visitors will be promptly instructed to leave the premises. In such a case, staff must open all exits and instruct visitors to leave the building as calmly and quickly as possible, making use of all available exits as evenly as possible. If the loudspeaker system fails, the instruction will be given by a four-time alarm signal (entrance bell). In the event of an unfounded disturbance, staff must calm visitors and instruct them to remain in their seats.
- All staff (ushers/orderlies) must be familiar with these House Rules and ensure that their provisions are observed.
- The organizer is obliged to take all necessary measures for the physical safety of those participating in the event. The name and address of the event manager must be communicated to the official supervisory bodies before the start of the event.
- Non-compliance with the provisions of the approved House Rules is subject to the penal provisions of the Lower Austrian Event Act. Violators may be required to immediately leave the premises, without prejudice to further action. A house ban may also be issued. Persons found in the rooms or on the premises of Arena Nova despite an existing house ban will be removed from the premises without refund of the admission price.
- Subleasing the hall to third parties is not permitted.
