Home & Garden 2026: More than an exhibition a look at tomorrow’s living

The Home & Garden 2026 at Arena Nova has once again shown how versatile,

inspiring, and above all, how holistically the topic of living is conceived today. From February 26

to March 1, it wasn’t just about building, planning, and designing – it was about rethinking.

rethinking.

With the addition of its own Interior & Design Hall, the fair took a decisive step forward this year:

For the first time, indoor and outdoor areas were equally in focus. This transformed a classic

construction and garden fair into a platform that considers the entire home – from the first idea to the

platform that considers the entire home – from the first idea to the

last furnishing element.

Living doesn’t start with the walls but with the feeling

What was particularly noticeable in 2026: Living has long been more than just function. It’s about

atmosphere, personality, and creating spaces that fit one’s own life.

fit.

The new Interior Hall perfectly encapsulated this – with great room concepts,

modern furniture, lighting solutions, and many details that turn a house into a home.

Visitors could get inspired, combine, try things out – and above all: discover their own style.

all: discover their own style.

Think sustainably. Implement smartly.

At the same time, the fair remained true to its roots: sustainability, energy efficiency, and

future-proof construction methods were also central themes in 2026.

Whether modern heating systems, innovative materials, or smart technologies – the

solutions were presented in a tangible, understandable, and above all, practical way. That’s exactly

what makes the difference: not just showing what’s possible, but how it can be concretely

implemented.

The garden as a second living room

There were also new inspirations for outdoors: gardens are no longer just ancillary spaces,

but true living spaces.

Climate-friendly design, nature-oriented concepts, and trends like vertical gardens

showed how nature, design, and sustainability can be combined. The outdoor area

is increasingly becoming an extension of the living space – functional, aesthetic, and vibrant.

Knowledge, exchange, and real conversationsWhat makes Home & Garden special every year is the direct exchange. This year, too,

expert lectures, consultations, and personal encounters were a

central part of the fair.

It’s not just about informing – but about understanding, asking questions,

elaborating.

Strong overall impression also for exhibitors

The mix of interested visitors, trade professionals, and industry experts once again ensured a really good quality of conversations in 2026.

good quality of conversations.

The expansion to include the interior area created new synergies –

between construction, garden, and furnishings. These very connections make the fair so

exciting.

Statement

“The Home & Garden continues to evolve every year – and that was clearly noticeable this year.

With the new Interior & Design Hall, we have taken an important step

to represent the topic of living even more holistically. Our goal is not only to show visitors products,

but to provide inspiration and

concrete solutions,” says Gerald Stangl, Managing Director of Arena Nova.

“The combination of building, garden, and interior creates a special dynamic – for

exhibitors as well as for our audience.”

Conclusion

The Home & Garden 2026 was more than a classic fair. It was a place full of ideas,

encounters, and inspiration.

A place where you didn’t just see how people live – but felt how

you want to live.
