From February 26 to March 1\, it wasn’t just about building\, planning\, and designing – it was about rethinking.  \nWith the expansion to include a dedicated Interior & Design hall\, the fair took a decisive step forward this year: for the first time\, indoor and outdoor areas were given equal focus. This transformed a classic construction and garden fair into a platform that encompasses the entire home – from the initial idea to the final furnishing element.  \nLiving doesn’t start with the walls – but with the feeling \nWhat was particularly noticeable in 2026: living has long been more than just function. It’s about atmosphere\, about personality\, and about creating spaces that fit your own life. The new Interior hall brought exactly that to the forefront – with great spatial concepts\, modern furniture\, lighting solutions\, and many details that turn a house into a home. Visitors could get inspired\, combine\, try out – and above all: discover their own style.    \nThink sustainably. Implement smartly.  \nAt the same time\, the fair remained true to its roots: sustainability\, energy efficiency\, and future-proof construction methods were also central themes in 2026. Whether modern heating systems\, innovative materials\, or smart technologies – the solutions were presented in a tangible\, understandable\, and above all practical way. That’s exactly what makes the difference: not just showing what’s possible\, but how it can be implemented in practice.   \nThe garden as a second living room \nThere were also new inspirations for outdoors: gardens are no longer secondary spaces\, but real living areas. Climate-friendly design\, nature-oriented concepts\, and trends like vertical gardens showed how nature\, design\, and sustainability can be combined. The outdoor area is increasingly becoming an extension of the living space – functional\, aesthetic\, and vibrant.   \nKnowledge\, exchange\, and real conversations \nWhat makes Home & Garden special every year is the direct exchange. This year too\, expert presentations\, consultations\, and personal encounters were a central part of the fair.
