20 Years of Haustier Aktuell – the big anniversary on September 5–6, 2026 at Arena Nova

The Haustier Aktuell celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026 – and under new management by EXOTICA Veranstaltungen, which also organizes the Haustiermesse Wien, Hundetag Baden, and Hundeadvent, enters a new, even stronger trade fair future.

Proven visitor highlights remain, while the trade fair is being rebuilt in many areas: hall structure, pathways, and experience zones are being comprehensively optimized, the upper floor is being reopened, and many areas are being significantly expanded. Visitors can expect more space for cats, dedicated lecture rooms for cats and dogs, new experience worlds,

photo spots, Instagram spots, and even more interactive program areas.

Look forward to pedigree dog presentations, cat shows, dog diving, search dogs, herding dogs, alpacas, horses, hamsters, and many more animal highlights.

The EXOTICA will also amaze with spiders, insects, beetles, snails, invertebrates, exotic animals, and extraordinary plants.

More than 100 exhibitors, great food trucks, an even better catering offer, and plenty of new pet products will make the anniversary visit perfect.

The proven elements remain – and everything that can be improved will be taken to a new level in 2026.
